I am a ceramic artist living and working from my home on the island of Funen in Denmark. My work is primarily decorative and sculptural. It is made from a hardwearing stoneware clay. I take great joy and inspiration from the masterful and characterful artwork of 18-19th century illustrators such as Ernst Haeckel. I initially model each piece in clay and then make a plaster mould from which I can produce multiple pieces. The uniqueness of individual pieces being retained through glazing and further decoration. My sculptural pieces are handmodelled and unique.
